WeaveU is launching our 1st semester this summer. We’re running DIY educational experiments around the city, from office rooftops to local cafes to cozy living rooms.
The goals are to challenge ourselves, gain new & actionable skills, and follow our curiosity, because education should be a lifelong pursuit. Plus, learning is fun, and cool peers make excellent friends.

We want to democratize enjoyable lifelong education and public research culture by building on an easily replicable model for a community-driven university (drawing on the civica model created by Fractal NYC) — and the economic, social, and creative opportunities that universities create. But really we are just in it for the love of learning and doing hard work alongside friends. We think good theory exists to serve good practice, so our programs prioritize practical skills first, with supplementary theory coming later.
